The Ship Inn at Porlock

The Ship Inn, known locally as the Top Ship, is one of the oldest inns on Exmoor, with roaring log burners in the winter and a large outdoor seating area and children’s play area for the summer months. We have ample bar and restaurant space and pride ourselves in offering great service and serving a varied selection of homemade meals and snacks. Situated in the beautiful village of Porlock surrounded on three sides by the hills of Exmoor and, on the fourth, by the sea, the Ship Inn makes a wonderful holiday destination. Whether you are after a relaxing break in our beautiful part of Somerset, or looking for something a bit more adventurous, think rugged walks, mountain biking, horse riding, paddleboarding (the list goes on), then The Top Ship will be able to help you make the most of your visit. Pets are most welcome and on-site car parking is available.
