The Fold

“The Nova Dome, The Fold, Herefordshire A seriously special glamping experience and one for dogs who love space and freedom. We stayed here over a long, gloriously sunny weekend and the weather really did make the most of this place. The Nova Dome itself is gorgeous, but what really makes it is the outdoor living space. We had an outdoor kitchen, shower, barbecue, plenty of seating and beanbags, with so much room to simply relax and enjoy being outside. It felt like luxury camping without feeling like you were actually camping. And for the dogs, there was plenty of space to enjoy too. There isn’t an enclosed garden, though, and there are other accommodations on the site, so if you have a reactive dog, that’s definitely something I’d consider before booking. But if you have a dog who is comfortable around other people and dogs, the space is incredible. The location is great for exploring too. We spent time in Hay-on-Wye, enjoyed some beautiful walks and explored the surrounding Herefordshire countryside. It’s a real top-end glamping experience, beautifully thought out, wonderfully quirky and somewhere that makes you want to slow down and enjoy the surroundings. And honestly, when you’ve got sunshine, an outdoor kitchen, a glass of something cold, your dogs beside you and views like these… it doesn’t get much better.
