Cannock Chase
There are so many walks here and there are routes suitable for every ability. I honestly think you could walk here everyday for 3 months and not cover the same route twice.
Perfect for walks with your pooch and the area is also popular with horse riders, hikers, trail runners and cyclists.
There are lots of cyclist routes so bare this in mind as they can come out of nowhere. There are also deer so there are points where dogs need to be on a lead.
Lots of water sources, some lovely clean lakes and some not so clean bogs.
Car parking is cheap and there are lots of spaces. There are toilets on site. There is a cafe and info centre (dogs are not allowed in) and they sell maps for 30p. Lots of places for a picnic and special areas for a bbq in the summer months. Large play area for children.
We really rate Cannock Chase!

Cannock Chase MTB Trails, Birches Valley, Rugeley, UK
Had a lovely walk around here, lots of different trails to walk along. We walked along the small route which was beautiful, and Lola even had a little paddle in the lake.
My advice is to try and go in the week day, we went during the weekend and it was very busy, lots of people on bikes and also using the Segways from GoApe, so was quite difficult to let Lola have a decent walk where she could explore.
Such a fun place to explore. Lots of walks with different difficulty levels. Go ape for the little humans to enjoy and lots of biking trails. We love coming here for a day out that we can all enjoy
