Dapper Dog Grooming Salon in Cannock

Please do not take your dog here. This groomer is pleasant to speak with but after I collected my dog I noticed blood in his food bowl which was from his nose and a blood shot eye. I queried this and was told by Sophie it was due to his hair being long. I brush my dogs face and eye area daily due to blocked tear ducts and his hair was not knotted. By the evening my dogs eye was heavily swollen and bruised, his eye had a dark blood red pouch and the whites of his eye could not be seen. He was with the vet by the following morning who confirmed he required anti inflammatory and pain relieving eye drops and in their opinion had suffered an impact injury. my dogs eye was fine before he went and he came home crying and needing medical attention due to an impact which happened during his visit to dapper dogs. Since his visit I have found numerous negative reviews and also understand Sophie, the groomer has been taken to court in the past for cruelty. Please do not take your dog here, my dog was incredibly lucky that the damage was not worse. When we asked Sophie for the CCTV, we were informed that it was not working on that day.
