National Memorial Arboretum
The NMA is the centre of remembrance, It honours and remembers those who served and continue to serve in many different ways. There are over 300 memorials on site dedicated to various armed forces and civil services.
The NMA have a specially developed dog walking path and its own map to match, which aims to cover as much of the site as possible, it is asked that the dogs are kept on short leads and stick to the path. The onsite coffee shop is dog friendly and there are water bowls provided.
There are parking charges, but no specific entry fee, although they do ask for a donation to contribute to the centre itself.
There are a number of events which take place throughout the year, too including the annual Ride to the Wall in which thousands of motorcyclists visit and raise money to support the arboretum.

The NMA is a place of remembrance for those that fought, so not.yoir typical doggy day out, but that being said its a great place to visit with the family and your pup! It's so calming and peaceful and there's lots of space to explore! They ask you keep your dog on a lead and on the footpaths, but even then you will manage to see most of what the NMA has to offer.
