The Happy Pear (Greystones)

The Happy Pear started out back in 2004 with a small veg shop and a big dream. Dave & Steve had been travelling the world and as twin power goes, on opposite sides of the world they switched to a plant based diet within a week of each other. The Happy Pear seed was sown.

The brand has slowly been building for 14 years. First came the shop, then the cafe, followed by the farm, the product range and the roastery. Then came the learning with both online and classroom Happy Heart Courses. And last, the digital avalanche; Part of Jamie Olivers Foodtube network, a successful Youtube channel, multiple digital awards as well as Snapchat, Facebook, Instagram and everything in between.

A family business with family values at its core. Donal & Ismay (or Mama & Papa pear as they’re known!) and younger brother Darragh are involved in the business as well as having a thriving international team all helping to make the world a healthier, happier place.

Their goal is to create a community, an environment people enjoy coming to and are supported in their efforts to make change. Their passion lies in their craft. Thier craft is continually evolving so that they can give their lovely customers what they want. From growing fresh produce to producing wholesome products, from creating simple recipes to teaching healthy habits, from serving customers to spreading happiness and everything in between.

They also love when 4 legged visitors come along for a visit but they request that they sit in the outdoor seating.
