Eureka Park developed from a simple recreation ground during the 1920s. Named after a coal seam which runs beneath it, it is a green oasis situated on Midland Road, Swadlincote, Derbyshire, DE11 0BA. The park was restored in 2014 with a Heritage Lottery Grant
