National Trust - Wicken Fen Nature Reserve

Dogs are more than welcome at Wicken Fen and are allowed in most areas including the wider nature reserve. There are miles of paths to explore with your pup while keeping an eye out for local wildlife. Please keep your dog on a short lead to protect grazing animals and wildlife. .

Dogs are welcome inside the Visitor Centre and shop on a short lead. Dogs may accompany you in the café when you are choosing and ordering your food but please use one of the picnic benches outside if eating with your dog. (Inside seating may also be available in the Visitor Centre for enjoying your café food with your dog).

Only assistance dogs are permitted on the Sedge Fen in order to protect a number of vulnerable, protected species. Please do not let your dog jump in the water, as nests are easily disturbed. Fen Cottage is too small for your dog to visit with you - but they are welcome them in the garden so if there are a group of you visiting you can take turns to pop inside for a look around.
