Easington Beach

This small beach lies on the Durham Heritage Coast, approximately mid-way between Sunderland and Hartlepool. The terrain is a mixture of sand and shingle and the beach is backed by cliffs and dunes. There are views from the beach along the rocky coastline and out towards the North Sea. The beach, which is usually fairly quiet, is used by sea anglers and fossil hunters.
