They have a great range of cask ales on offer, as well as fine wines and a back bar filled with premium gins and spirits. Subject to weather, you can even enjoy them on Chester’s only floating beer garden. They also serve home-cooked pub food, with a fantastic menu packed with fresh, seasonal pub favourites. You can enjoy the outside area that also has heated beach huts for the colder months!

The Boathouse is always great value and decent pub food. We always sit on their outside area, it is directly on the river for the summer and has heated shed booths for the wider. Water and treats have been available a few times for the dogs, but service really is hit and miss.
