Honister Mine Cafe

Honister mine cafe serves delicious homemade cakes, soups, sandwiches and offers cold and hot drinks.

Dogs are allowed inside the cafe and the slate mine shop.

There is also a seating area outside and dogs are allowed in the public viewing area

Various fell walk start routes are located at this spot such as Fleetwith Pike and Great Gable

Dogs are not allowed in the mine due to health and safety reasons and the requirement of wearing protective clothing. There are limited kennels available
