Low Wood Bay Hotel
Inbetween Ambleside and the lushes rolling hills of Windermere right opposite a glistening Lake lies a wonderful dog friendly Hotel called Low Wood Bay.
Up to 2 dogs are welcome to stay with you overnight for £20, per pooch, per night. (Don't forget to note on your booking reservation that you have a dog so they can make appropriate arrangements). Unfortunately, dogs are not welcome in the restaurant, but there is a dog friendly area provided for those who want to dine in-house.
Although these areas are not dog friendly - guests get complimentary access to the Health Club, which includes a swimming pool, sauna, steam room, and a fitness suite as well as the outdoor thermal experience. So if you're taking a second person who can take care of the dogs you can enjoy a few moments of bliss.
There's hundreds of walks located nearby and both towns, Windermere and Ambleside to explore.
