Queens Head, Troutbeck

This 17th-century Elizabethan inn has a peaceful location in the Troutbeck Valley, with weaving footpaths that link the nearby ancient hamlets. It offers à la carte cuisine, and is 1.5 miles from the former home of Beatrix Potter.
