Really lovely pub with a delicious range of food (and gins!) dogs are very welcome and a range of vegetarian and vegan options - the menu is on the website and their Facebook page.
Booking advisable at weekends and other busy times but usually fine to just call in for lunch. Walks from the pub but also close to Grizedale Forest.
Food is served 5-9 weekdays and 12-9 Saturdays. Sunday Lunch 12-5 and then evening meals 6-9 on Sunday.
You can also stay over in your campervan or motorhome for free if you have a meal!

Delicious food and a fantastic range of drinks, we sometimes visit for Sunday lunch and our dogs are always made to feel very welcome. It does have outdoor seating but dogs are welcome anywhere. We took our dog on our Valentine's Day date here too and Lola had a lovely time! If you like to see the menu before you visit they keep it up to date on their Facebook page and have daily specials too.
If you have a campervan or motorhome you can stay over for free if you have a meal there - but it's a good idea to book this in advance.
