Lovely scenic walks through hillsides and woodland. Parking, toilets and information centre on site. No public transport. They mention having hares, deer and weasels for those patient and lucky enough to spot them. On a clear day you can apparently see to the Isle of Man.

“We love Beacon Fell it can get busy at times so find earlier easier and more peaceful. Parking is easy and the cafe is handy for a brew after a nice walk”

“Have been going here since being a pup. A number of clearly signed routes but you can just find your own. It can get busy and there are usually a number of off lead dogs. There are areas to park with the main visitors centre parking area being pay and display and having a cafe for after your walk. We have been early in the morning and usually quiet with it only being dog walkers. The views are great from the top especially on a clear day. A good walk out for dogs and children with various picnic areas and a park. ”
