At high tide there is a paved walk along the entire beach which includes cafes, coffee places & various other businesses.

Does tend to get busy on a nice day but otherwise this is a great beach with awesome views across the River Mersey to Liverpool. There is plenty of parking along the prom and in the car park. Also lots of the local cafes and restaurants are dog friendly.
