We stopped at Peggy Mae's for lunch after a walk in Hengistbury Head on our way home from Bournemouth to London. The pawrents ordered a cream tea each which came served on a tiered cake stand and included scones with jam and cream and huge doorstop sandwiches as well as a big pot of tea to wash it all down. As you can see I tried my luck to get on the table and help myself to some of it too but was unsuccessful - I may of got to lick the pot of clotted cream at the end though ;) There was so much food the humans struggled to finish but were able to take any leftovers home in a box to eat during the rest of our car journey. Whilst we were there several other doggies turned up with their humans too so this is clearly a good place to be in Lyndhurst!
