Dogs are always welcome to stay overnight, for a £50 per pooch, per stay, plus a one-time cleaning fee of £30. This includes bed and woofbox complete with treats, toys and those all-important poo bags. All rooms combine a sense of elegant history with modern comfort and include plush bedding, flat-screen TVs, ample desks, Wi-Fi, soaring ceilings and inviting decor.
Dogs are also treated (should they wish) to enjoy a two-hour one-to-one training session with an expert trainer from City Dog.
Dogs can’t join you in the restaurants, but your furry friend is more than welcome to accompany you in the Hansom Lounge, which occupies the enormous entrance to the hotel. Here you can enjoy tea, coffee, a cocktail, and some nibbles, and your pooch will be provided with a bowl of water.
