“We visited Fernleigh on a gorgeous sunny day, so naturally opted to sit outside... and the outdoor seating area is absolutely beautiful. We did poke our heads inside too, and it looked equally lovely. The staff were amazing with our pup, Archie and you could tell they genuinely loved having dogs visit. One member of staff kept coming round with the treat tin and was very generous with them... Safe to say, Archie was a big fan! The menu is fairly small, but what we had was great quality. We shared the open chicken sandwich and the steak, and both were absolutely delicious. The coffee was also great quality (and I'm a coffee snob). Fernleigh is also home to a selection of shops inside the beautiful period building, so I'd definitely recommend allowing a little extra time after your meal to have a browse. Great food, a gorgeous setting and genuinely dog-loving staff – we'd definitely go back.”
