The Rising Sun, Bristol
Newly renovated and reopened, the Rising Sun is a community pub with a big heart. Dogs get a cheery welcome, and water and treats are both provided for them with a smile.
Snacks and cakes are served throughout the day, as are hot drinks. There’s a great range of independent beers and ales too.
There’s a smallish (secure) beer garden, and the pub is right next to a small and dog friendly park. The park is well worth a visit anyway, to see the amazing mural on the side of the Rising Sun. It’s a Bristol hidden gem!
For pups who need to stretch their longs for a bit longer, the huge Victoria Park is a three minute walk away.
