Shipload Bay

Encircled by towering cliffs, Shipload Bay Beach is made up primarily of shingle and rocks. The beach was famous in the days of old for having been a favourite haunt for smugglers and access to the beach would have been via a small donkey path that tacked down the cliffs. Unfortunately the path has long since washed away as the area is prone to landslides.
