Bankes Arms Inn Studland

VIEWS ACROSS STUDLAND BAY OR THE PURBECK HILLS AS STANDARD. The Bankes Arms Inn offers individual, modern and spacious accommodation in our ten beautiful B&B rooms, eight with ensuite bath or shower rooms. The rooms at the front of the pub afford uninterrupted sea views across Studland Bay towards Poole, Bournemouth and the Isle of Wight whilst the rooms at the rear are quieter and look out towards the Purbeck hills and countryside.

Refurbished at the beginning of 2018, the rooms offer a choice of either double, twin or single beds and all have flat-screen TVs, tea/coffee making facilities, mobile charging points and free wi-fi. Period features such as fireplaces have been retained where possible but all rooms are furnished in a contemporary style with your comfort as a priority.

You have 24-hour room access via your own key and a separate secure entrance with check-in from 2pm. The pub is adjacent to a large National Trust car park and a guest parking pass is provided for your stay. We operate a minimum two nights stay over weekends, and a minimum three nights over bank holidays.

ENJOY YOUR CHOICE OF BREAKFAST IN OUR COMFORTABLE DINING ROOM. We take great pride in serving you a comprehensive choice of breakfast. Our traditional Full English, with eggs, bacon and sausages all sourced from local farms, is a great way to start a day of walking the Jurassic Coastal Path and we also offer a healthy vegetarian version. We can serve your eggs fried, poached, scrambled, boiled, on toast (brown or white) or bread or pretty much any way you prefer.

For lighter appetites (or as a starter for ten) you can enjoy a range of cereals, including muesli and granola, toast with jam or marmalade and a range of fruit juices. All can be enjoyed with a nice cuppa; as well as our machine-filtered coffee, we have a range of traditional and herbal teas.

Breakfast is served in our comfortable dining room separated from the main pub and exclusive to B&B guests . You can ease your way into the day with a leisurely brew, recline in our sitting area with a magazine or newspaper or take in the vista across the bay from the large bay window.

Dogs: There is a one-off charge of £10 per dog for the duration of your stay. Note: Dogs are not allowed in the breakfast room but arrangements can be made for you to take breakfast in the bar if necessary.
