Holly House Tea Rooms

If you are visiting the caves or taking a hike up Cheddar Gorge then this is the place to refuel afterwards.

It has been a while since we visited Cheddar but this place has stayed with me as the owner made an effort to greet our pups and provide them treats. He was happy to welcome our pooches indoors regardless of how soggy they were. Turns out he was a dog owner too. I'm always impressed when a place has great customer service and this place did.

I love quaint little places that have a charming vibe to them. I really enjoyed our brief visit and could of stayed a while longer admiring the decor and trinkets.

The range of ice creams made me happy (I went for the Turkish delight) and the hot chocolate was good too.

Arlo would like me to point out that he really enjoyed the sausages at the tea room!
