I'd advise parking at The Saxon Milk pub and having a drink/food in the dog friendly bar.

Perfect walk for some lovely photos. You can see (and I believe walk to) the abandoned Guys Cliffs Manor House which is eerie and hauntingly beautiful at the same time. You can find the history of the building online and It appears they hold ghost hunting events at the location.

The walk is next to the river and across farmland. The fields seemed popular and we saw other dog walkers, a wedding photo shoot, children and runners. A number of dogs and children were in the river.

Very rural so visit during daylight hours. The Saxon Mill has toilets!
