The Boathouse Cafe is open daily from 10am - 4pm.
This relaxed café serves family friendly ranges including freshly prepared sandwiches, homemade soups and cakes from our kitchen and a selection of hot and cold drinks and the kiosk serves locally made ice cream.
On poor weather days please check Boathouse Café opening times upon arrival at the ticket office.

We took a trip to Castle Howard to explore the vast grounds which are simply stunning!
We always like to conclude our walks with a brew and cake and this cafe was oerfect. There's a playground for the children, or we took a bench on the decking overlooking the lake.
The cakes were divine and who doesn't like a nice warm tea on a brisk autumn day!
