Mauds Cafe of Pontefract

Mauds Cafe is situated in the little historic market town of Pontefract, West Yorkshire. Tucked away down a small alleyway you will find this gem of a cafe! Being able to boast the only cafe in Pontefract to allow dogs inside and there must be 15+ to choose from within the market area itself.

For the humans you will find a great menu catering for vegitarians, vegans and meat eaters! They do hold a license to serve alcohol aswell. With seating inside and a few tables outside for you to capture some rays if the sun shows its face. There isn't a direct carpark for this cafe however there is many car parks around the town (Morrisons is normally free) which is 5mins walk away if that.

For the doggos there is fresh water supplied and dog biscuits upon the bar. All the staff are very friendly and fussed the dogs. They are allowed inside where they can relax and sprawl out.

Nearby you have a few dog friendly places ranging from the Valley Gardens where you can take your dog for a nice stroll round to visiting the old castle ruins down the road. There is also Pontefract Park which has a a big duck pond and huge fields for your dogs to stretch their legs.
