Pendreich Forest and Dumyat Hill
Covering the slopes of Black Hill above Bridge of Allan, this woodland is a popular spot for runners, dog walkers, and anyone seeking fresh air. Take a short stroll through the sycamore woods around White Hill or use the car park as a base to climb Dumyat Hill.
Pendreich is the starting point for the popular hill path up Dumyat Hill. While the low elevation and great views make this is a perfect first hillwalk, it can get chilly and windy at the top so do go prepared. You can find details of the route at Walkhighlands.

Location
Pendreich Car Park, Stirling FK9 4LS, United Kingdom
We stopped here whilst driving home from a holiday in Scotland. The walk is simple, an easy to follow path, but we were rewarded with great views and a really interesting, unexpected memorial to the Argyll and Sutherland Highlanders. Definitely worth exploring if you're in the area - free parking in the forest car park nearby too.
