Culross Abbey
Culross Abbey was built in the 1200s and survived until the Reformation, when the abbey church became the parish church. Culross is said to have been the site of an early Christian community led by St Serf and of which St Kentigern (Mungo) was a member. Culross Abbey is a beautiful site and well worth the visit. It’s situated on a steep slope, offering fine views of the surrounding area. Dogs, on lead, are permitted in the graveyard and Abbey ruins.
