Riverside Inn
The Riverside Inn is a lovely hotel located in the scenic town of Callander and adjacent to the River Teith. Although there is limited public transport; access by car and parking is extensive and close by. A large Riverside walk is right next to the hotel which is popular among dog walkers all around Scotland.
Dogs are immediately catered for in the Riverside Inn with a dish of water and treats with friendly and enthusiastic staff, giving plenty of rubs. The Riverside Inn is already a popular place for dog lovers so the bar part of the hotel may be filled with other dogs so sociable dogs would be more comfortable.
The food that was available is of the highest standard and totally worth the visit with only that in mind. A wide range of Scottish classics are available with a selection of alcohol. However, tables are limited so phoning ahead may guarantee a table.
