A lovely dog friendly bar with an excellent selection of drinks and food for the humans and a welcome for the 4 legged friends too! Open for breakfast too.

The dogs were welcome inside, offered treats and water and plenty of attention.  The Holyrood 9A is located on the Cowgate, a short walk from Arthurs Seat or Edinburgh city centre.

This used to be our old local when we stayed in the area and the dogs loved a visit here. The staff were always so friendly and welcoming to us - humans and dogs. Welcomed with water and biscuits and they did think about where you could sit so everyone was comfortable. Food tasty too!
