Water of Leith Walkway

The Water of Leith walkway starts in Balerno and winds its way along the river to Leith, in the centre of Edinburgh, almost 13 miles in length.  There are many places to access the route along its length, these link up with other paths, cycle routes, the canal and Pentland Hills.  The Water of Leith Visitor Centre welcomes dogs and can be found along the route at Lanark Road in Slateford.
