Penicuik Estate

Just ten miles south of Edinburgh, the Penicuik Estate is a great spot to bring the doggles.  The estate comprises 560 acres of varied terrain so there is plenty to explore and routes for all abilities.  As well as the open fields and lawns near the ruin of Penicuik House, there are many woodland paths to explore and the potential for a dip in the North Esk to cool doggles down after a good walk.  There is a clearly signposted car park just off the A766; blue badge holders are welcome to drive further into the Estate and park by the house.
