Shearer Candles

Shearer Candles on Byres Road in Glasgow's West End is an artisan candle and fragrance shop, which was founded in Glasgow's Candleriggs area in 1897. It specialises in Scottish- themed scents, and has a large section on display that changes with the seasons. The shop is a three minute walk from the nearby Hillhead subway station, and just down the road from the famous Glasgow Botanic Gardens. 

The staff in the shop are friendly and welcome dogs in to allow their owners to browse, and often offer treats from behind the counter. Dogs are fussed over, and the staff are always happy to see them. Water is also available in a bowl at the door of the shop.
