Glen Cottage

Glen Cottage is two bedroomed with a double sofa bed in the lounge. The bedrooms are furnished with kingsize beds that are able to be split into single beds upon advance request. If you need extra space then there is also the Shin Falls Luxury Pod next door, which you can also book together with Glen Cottage if required!

The cottage also offers unlimited wifi, a woodburning stove and whirlpool bath. With zero light pollution and regular sitings of the northern lights in the area, along with more stars than most will see in their life, the most challenging decision of your holiday is whether to relax inside or out!

Glen Cottage is surrounded by dense woodland, the majority of which is owned by the forestry commission, and attracts a wide array of wildlife, ranging from deer and pine marten on the ground, to numerous types of birds of prey and midges in the sky! The renowned Falls of Shin, where leaping salmon can be seen from various viewing platforms, can be heard from the cottage and are just a couple of hundred metres away with established walks in all directions. Within a short walk from Glen Cottage there is a visitor centre, allowing dogs, offering lunch and evening meal.

sleeps up to 6 people and dogs stay free. There is no limit on the number of dogs and there is a large garden for them to run and play in when they're not exploring the forest trails.
