Glenfinnan Viaduct

Here's one for all the Harry Potter fans out there! 

Glenfinnan Viaduct is situated in the Highlands of Scotland not far from Fort William and is a must see for all. Such beautiful scenic views and if you are lucky you can time it with the Jacobite steam train passing through to capture the perfect shot. 

There are various points to stop on the way to see the viaduct. The walk to the top is probably about 30 minutes. Parking available in two car parks nearby too. 

Whether you’re a Harry Potter fan or simply love incredible scenery, Glenfinnan is well worth a visit. There are several walking routes leading to fantastic viewpoints over the famous viaduct, and it’s always exciting to watch the Jacobite Steam Train pass by if you time it right. Dogs will love the woodland trails and open space, while you’ll probably find yourself reaching for your camera every few minutes.
