We are a dog-friendly hotel in Scotland. We are pleased to welcome dogs at a charge of £25 per dog, per stay. Our apartments are equipped to keep 1 small or medium dog per flat.
To ensure the appropriate allocation of pet-friendly apartments, it is a must that you let us know, at the time of your reservation, that you wish to bring your dog along. Otherwise, you may be disappointed if we aren’t able to accommodate your pet.
Dogs are very welcome in our bar area and the foyer of Mackays Hotel.

We went here for a meal. As it is a hotel we were only permitted in the bar to eat not the restaurant, which is understandable. We were greeted at the hotel reception desk and Millie got a lovely fuss over her. We were given seats in the bar and a restaurant menu and a bowl of water for Millie, she was also given a few treats by the lovely lady that was working. It's quite a small bar area but there was only us and one other guy there so it wasn't too bad but I don't think it would be great if there were more people in there. The food took a little while to come out but it was well worth the wait. This is also the first place where Millie felt so relaxed that she lay down and had a snooze.
