Broch of Gurness

Explore an icon of Orkney’s rich archaeological heritage. This impressive Iron Age complex is one of the most outstanding examples of a later prehistoric settlement to survive in Scotland. Visitors' dogs are allowed at Broch of Gurness, but are not permitted in roofed areas. Dogs must be kept on a lead at all times and not left unattended at any time.
