The Chalet is an ideal holiday retreat in the West side of Shetland, surrounded by a stunning natural landscape. Close enough to the amenties that Lerwick has to offer, but far enough away to experience the tranquility and regenerative effects The Chalet was originally built in the 1970's for holiday accommodation, along with the 9 other identical chalets. Situated in the West side of Shetland, but only 15 minutes drive from the capital town, Lerwick, makes the Chalet an ideal base for exploring all areas of Shetland. The Chalet has been completely refurbished and although it retains much of the character of the original building, it is no longer designed to sleep 6 people, as it was prior to this. The Chalet makes for a very comfortable stay for a up to three, but a chair bed in the living room can provide an extra bed with prior arrangement

This is one of the most beautiful areas in Shetland and although the chalets all have stunning views from their large front windows, The Chalet has a commanding, completely unobscured view over Nesbister and Whiteness Voe, making it an ideal place to escape the stress of everyday life, with nearby hill and coastal walks, interesting local history, fishing and wildlife.
