Loch Trool Trail
While in Dumfries & Galloway, head over to Loch Trool for a fantastic circular walk around the Loch. Follow the way marked trail from the car park all the way round (3+ hours) and experience gorgeous views. The path is a fair distance from the Loch if you are concerned about dogs taking a dip!

Certainly give yourself a good 3 hours plus to explore this gorgeous loch! We did the circular route around which the dogs thoroughly enjoyed. Waymarked path and no livestock and literally saw not a soul!
