The Mull of Galloway Experience
At the Mull of Galloway you can climb the Lighthouse, visit the Exhibition of Lighthouse History, experience the Vintage Engines and Foghorn and walk around the RSPB Scotland Nature Reserve. The Mull of Galloway Lighthouse has an exhibition on the ground floor which is also dog friendly, however you will have to leave your pooch below if you also want to climb the 115 steps to the top of the lighthouse.

We didn't go into the exhibition but we walked all around the lighthouse area down to the RSPB centre and foghorn. It is mostly enclosed but be careful as there are steep cliffs all around so dogs must be on a leash. The nearby Gallie Craig cafe has tables that can be accessed from outside so you can sit there with your dogs as they are not allowed inside.
