Abbotsford The Home Of Sir Walter Scott

The home of Sir Walter Scott, situated on the banks of the River Tweed in the Scottish Borders. Dogs have always been loved at Abbotsford. When Sir Walter Scott was on his deathbed, he asked his son in law to take good care of his dogs for him. Dogs of all shapes and sizes are still loved at Abbotsford! They are welcome on a lead throughout the gardens and in our cafe, and can have a run off lead in areas of the estate. The only area dogs can’t access are the exhibition and historic house.
