Melrose Abbey
Melrose Abbey is a magnificent ruin on a grand scale, and is the final resting place for the heart of Robert the Bruce. Admire the graceful architecture of the abbey church, among Britain’s finest church architecture of the late 1300s. There is plenty to see and do on the grounds; complete the kids quiz or listen to the free audio tour.
Visitors' dogs are allowed at Melrose Abbey, but are not permitted in roofed areas. Dogs must be kept on a lead at all times and not left unattended at any time.
