Caprice

Image

Caprice is a continental style brasserie serving breakfast, lunch and dinner. They are located on Prestwick's Main Street, which is only a few minutes drive from Prestwick Airport and a short walk from the beach/ the world famous Prestwick Golf Club, the venue for the first ever Open Championship.

The menu is extremely varied from a light two course lunch to pizza/ burgers/ fajitas/ fish and chips etc. As well as the restaurant, they also have a bar area where you can lounge around with a drink from their extensive wine, cocktail and beer list.

The venue is extremely dog friendly with dogs being allowed in all areas. They do have some dog rules that are on view when you arrive.

We decided that after a morning at the beach in Prestwick, we would take a wander down Prestwick main street to have something to eat. We noticed the "dog rules" at the door of Caprice and headed in to see if they could get us a table. We were very lucky as they managed to squeeze us in without a reservation. Opie was treated so well by the staff who brought him some water and treats. They had a great menu with plenty of pub favourites to chose from as well as a range of pizzas. I had fajitas and my partner had fish and chips, which were both delicious and reasonably priced. They also had a range of wines, beers and cocktails to chose from, again reasonably priced. We sat indoors but they also had a beer garden. I would definitely recommend booking as a lot of people got turned away whilst we were there.
