Cleughearn Forest at Whitelee Windfarm

The Cleughearn Forest is a lovely walk within the Whitelee Windfarm, but separated from the main visitor center, which makes it a quieter walk.

This walk will take you around forest paths, tall grass lands, and views of ponds and sights of windmills.

Thou the start is near a tree cutting center, after passing the gate, the walk is mainly forest, forest, grassland, water and more forest. It passes briefly a farm with sheep but you can rarely see them. You might encounter some deer, but they are also a rare sight.
