Penllwyn Lodges

Penllwyn Lodges are beautifully set lodges in the woodlands of Montgomery and some overlook the golf course

There are many that are dog friendly and some of the dog friendly lodges also have hot tubs

Each lodge has its own parking area (some are a little walk from the area to the lodge and could be up stairs) which make it super easy to access the lodge when out and about in your car

There are walks near by but even walking around the lodge area is bliss with som much wildlife around and it is incredibly tranquil

The walk to the nearest pub (The Nags Head) is approx 20-30 mins (this is including time to stop and sniff along the river...dogs obviously not humans!) but the golf course is not walkable.

The lodges themselves are typical wood lodges and each have log burners and heating throughout with a fully fitted kitchen and all the tools available if you are there for a few days and choose to eat in

The nearby town has all of the restaurants and takeaways available so you wont go hungry!

Their is a small convenience store onsite however these are only for the necessities - anything else I would recommend going to the supermarket in town which is a short drive away

There are many walks nearby and many sites to go and visit but a car is a must

For those with wheelchairs or pushchairs, please make this known at the time of booking and they will ensure that they have you in a suitable lodge as there are many that are completely family friendly
