The Darran

Part of the chain Brains, the Darran is a pub in Risca offering food and drinks for a reasonable price (Including vegetarian and vegan options) They have an open plan interior where dogs are allowed inside on the right hand side (on the tiled floor) and are welcomed with lots of fuss by the staff. They even have a dogs welcome sign by the door. Treats are available near the bar in a nice labelled jar along with water bowls.

At the front of the pub there is a decent sized car park and outdoor seating available for those sunny days. Situated just down from the canal it’s ideal for a stop off while out on a walk with the dog.
