Brecon Mountain Railway
Choo choo! Hop on board this dog friendly train and bask in the views of the Brecon Beacons.
There is a charge for your pooch though, a dog’s ticket costs £2.50 and the journey takes around two hours (including return). One downside to this attraction is there isn’t really anywhere dog friendly at the stop for refreshments, so probably best to take a picnic!

Brecon mountain railway was a nice way to spend a Saturday on our doorstep. It is quite pricey at £16 a person and £4 for a dog and the carriageways are quite small but the scenery on route is amazing. There is a cafe at the half way point but unfortunately dogs are not allowed inside. We however used the train to get us to the end point and we walked the 7 miles back. A fabulous walk with amazing views
