Pontypool and Blaenavon Railway

Choo choo! Hop on aboard this dog furiendly train! Take a ride through the industrial landscape of Blaenavon. Stops include the Blaenavon Ironworks the Garn Lakes and the Whistle Inn.

The main facilities can be found at the Furnace Sidings station. With a dog friendly tea room called the Firemans Shovel (serving a range of cold snacks and hot and cold refreshments) and toilets. Blaenavon High-Level station also has limited toilet facilities.

You’re more than welcome to hop on and off as much as you like. You can also stop off at Garn Lake, which is the perfect stop for a dog walk. Your dog will have a whale of a time!
