The National Botanical Gardens of Wales

The garden is both a visitor attraction and a centre for botanical research and conservation, and features the world's largest single-span glasshouse

Dogs are not allowed into the Botanic Garden on a daily basis (with the exception of assistance dogs), but every Monday and every Friday is Doggy Day, and the first weekend of each month.

The National Botanic Garden of Wales seeks "to develop a viable world-class national botanic garden dedicated to the research and conservation of biodiversity, lifelong learning and the enjoyment of the visitor."

Can I bring my dog to the Botanic Garden? Dogs are not allowed into the Botanic Garden on a daily basis (with the exception of assistance dogs), but every Monday and every Friday is Doggy Day, and the first weekend of each month.

On Doggy Days, you are welcome to walk your pooch in and around the Botanic Garden. Dogs are not permitted in the Great Glasshouse or the Tropical House. We do ask dog owners to abide by our Doggy Day rules

Dogs are only permitted on site on certain days and the lady at the entrance was a little strict and firm and didn’t seem keen on us entering. However the gentleman on the ticket desk was really friendly. Once inside the space and area to walk around was amazing. I would however suggest maybe a summer time visit when more flowers have bloomed. It is a little expensive to go in but parking is free and you could spend a full day there.
