Castell Henllys Iron Age Fort

The staff here just love to welcome pooches of all shapes and sizes, they even have treats at reception ready to share!

Dogs must be kept on a short lead, but have the run of the whole park to adventure on. Expect lots of walking, there are some lovely walks through the woods and around the houses. Dogs are not allowed in the cafe, we suggest taking a picnic and making use of the picnic tables.

Castell Henllys is the only Iron Age Village in Britain reconstructed on the exact site where 2,000 years ago our Celtic ancestors lived.
